World Relief’s Spotlight on Refugees - June 12th
On Thursday, June 12th, World Relief Chicagoland will be hosting an event at Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton. It will be a powerful evening highlighting the resilience and humanity of those forced to flee their homes. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding and be part of the conversation.
The keynote speaker, Denis Kweri, will share his personal journey as a refugee and advocate. Following his story, a dynamic panel including Denis, Matthew Soerens, Liza Khalil, and Sara Oh will discuss the current global landscape for refugees and immigrants, offering insights and answering questions about how we can respond with compassion and action.
